How my journey began

Hi, I'm Minni! A millennial traveler, language lover, and lifelong learner. I'm here to share my journey with you—one that’s been filled with adventure, growth, and more than a few ups and downs.

The first time I ever left the country was in 2016 on a senior trip to Europe. That trip lit a fire in me. From that moment, I knew I wanted to see more of this world. But let’s be real, life and a full-time job had me feeling like travel was just a dream. For a while, my dreams of exploring far-off places were just that—dreams. However, after a few short trips and a lot of soul-searching, I took the leap and moved to South Korea for just over two years. That experience changed everything. It showed me that I was meant to travel and that this world has so much to offer if we're brave enough to seek it.

"Minni is Learning" is more than just a collection of my adventures. It’s a space where I hope to inspire you to step out of your comfort zone and go after whatever sets your soul on fire. Whether it’s traveling to a new country, learning a new language, or simply daring to try something new, I’m here to cheer you on. We all deserve to live full, bold lives.

Now, don’t get it twisted—my journey hasn't been a walk in the park. I've dealt with language barriers, finances that didn’t want to cooperate, and even had an emergency surgery thrown in there. But every challenge has taught me something valuable, and I want to share those lessons with you.

Here, you’ll find stories of my past and current adventures, tips on language learning, cultural insights, and my personal reflections on what it means to live a life filled with curiosity and courage.
