7 Tools, Habits, and Hobbies I’m Bringing Into 2025
As we step into a new year, I can’t help but reflect on the practices and passions that have shaped my life in 2024. This past year has been one of exploration, learning, and refinement—a year where small habits turned into big wins and hobbies became sources of joy and fulfillment. Today, I’m sharing the seven tools, habits, and hobbies I’ll carry into 2025 to make it another incredible year of growth and happiness.
1. Biohacking for Well-Being
Biohacking has become a cornerstone of my daily routine. By incorporating simple practices like cold showers and menstrual phase tracking, I’ve learned to optimize my energy and productivity. These habits have helped me navigate the ebbs and flows of life, especially during the tougher days leading up to my period. Biohacking reminds us that small, intentional actions can lead to profound changes in how we feel and function.
2. A Content Calendar for Consistency
Staying organized in my creative work has been a game-changer, and a content calendar is the key. In 2024, I committed to weekly YouTube videos, building on the success of my blog. This year, I’m doubling down on my content calendar to ensure consistency and give myself a clear roadmap for delivering value to my audience.
3. ChatGPT for Productivity
One of my favorite tools for staying on track is ChatGPT. It’s not just a productivity hack—it’s a creativity booster. Whether I need help organizing my thoughts or brainstorming fresh ideas, ChatGPT streamlines the process, reducing mental fatigue and leaving more room for the things I love.
4. Baking (Especially Sourdough)
Baking has been a delightful escape from the digital world. This year, I fell in love with sourdough, learning the art of creating a starter and experimenting with recipes. It’s therapeutic and grounding—a reminder to slow down and savor the process. Pro tip: adding apple peels to your sourdough starter can work wonders!
5. Homemade Rosemary Hair Oil
This practical beauty solution has earned a permanent spot in my routine. Not only does rosemary hair oil promote growth and shine, but it also serves as a natural mosquito deterrent. Crafting this oil has brought a sense of accomplishment and added simplicity to my self-care.
6. Packing Light
Travel has always been a significant part of my life, and one of the best lessons I’ve learned is to pack light. By avoiding oversized luggage, I’ve embraced the freedom and ease of traveling with only what I truly need. It’s a habit that reduces stress and makes every journey more enjoyable.
7. Cross-Stitching and Embroidery
These portable, low-cost crafts have been a joy on the road. They’re easy to pack, calming to work on, and keep my hands busy during long trips. Cross-stitching and embroidery have become a creative outlet that combines mindfulness with productivity.
Bonus: Quarterly Bingo for Goal-Setting
One of the most fun and effective methods I’ve used for goal-setting is quarterly bingo. This year, I plan to refine my bingo cards by setting more actionable, focused goals that keep me motivated while ensuring progress is tangible and rewarding.
Looking Ahead
2025 is shaping up to be a year of intentional growth, creative exploration, and joyful living. Whether it’s through biohacking, baking, or the tools I use to stay productive, I’m excited to keep refining what works and embracing new opportunities to learn and grow.
